Italian quality. Southern design.
D'Agostino Pasta Company produces a traditional, handmade pasta, acclaimed for its delicate texture and legendary flavor. It is still made the old-fashioned way, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana by using the "delicate" method developed centuries ago in Palermo, Sicily.
Small quantities of pasta are extruded through bronze dies created specifically for each shape. The pasta is carefully looped over wooden rods, straightened, then air-dried in wooden cellars—NO microwaves.
The pasta is then stripped one stick or screen at a time, and hand-packed to ensure the freshest, best-tasting pasta you will ever buy. NO preservatives are used. NO additives. NO artificial coloring. Only the natural sweetness and nutritional value of the finest pure Durum semolina wheat, is used to make our D’Agostino pasta.
This delicate pasta requires half the cooking time of commercially produced pasta.
Ranks D'Agostino as one of its Top Three Louisiana-Made Jarred Pasta Sauces!
I can really taste the difference in D’Agostino’s handcrafted, all-natural pasta. Because of its freshness, the pasta becomes tender quickly when cooking, releasing all of the natural flavors of the pure semolina and adding a wonderful, delicate texture to any dish. D’Agostino’s signature alligator, crawfish and fleur de lis-shaped pastas provide a unique taste of Louisiana and make for a fun crowd pleaser! Plus, supporting a locally owned business is always an added bonus.
These make exceptional corporate gifts- unique, quality ingredients. Perfect for friends and family!
I have had homemade pasta all my life as an Italian, and this is as close to homemade as I will find in Louisiana! Delicious.
Celebrating the SAINTS win over the Eagles tonight with Dagostino's fleur-de-lis pasta, and awesome spaghetti red sauce! Great Baton Rouge company! A memorable meal!!
